Liberty's first instinct was to go see Allison. They'd grown up together, the closest thing to a friend Liberty had, two years on the run, and being Blipped didn't really change much as far as Liberty was concerned.

Knocking on Ally's apartment door, it occurred to Liberty that she should have called first.

The door opened.

at first, she was afraid that the bruise she had spotted on her friends collarbone could be something more serious, but scarlett relaxed upon hearing the explanation “this student got talent, i see” she joked, holding back a laugh. she pondered for a moment before saying anything else. “you always talk about the kids and the x-men and their training…  all this makes me wanna train with them one day, even though i'm not a mutant. do you think that would be possible ?”

Girlhood for Margot started with Ally; running through the tower together, playing pranks on their parents, sleep overs and girls days. It later turned into girls night out, and then girls night in, and sporadic lunch dates when they both had the time that always lasted just a little too long, and not long enough. Some days, Margot couldn't help but feel like despite how everything changed, nothing was really all that different.
